facility owners: STOP PAYING THE:

“biM CLEANUP TAX”

Spend 15×’s LESS and Operate your building within Weeks of Handover

Implementing an Owner’s Data Standard, you receive Data-Rich BIMs at handover instead of data-poor models that require 6 to 18 months of recovery work. With Collectus DDMV, owners spend 15× LESS upfront by getting the right data delivered the first time—avoiding the costly rework typically required after construction. That upfront discipline unlocks powerful downstream value across operations over the lifecycle of the facility:

  • Lower Insurance Premiums: 5–15% reduction

  • Technician Productivity: Reclaim up to 30% of lost time

  • Faster Emergency Response: 10–25% less damage

  • Energy Savings: 10–25% improvement

  • Reduced Liability Exposure: 10–20% reduction

  • Instant Asset Location: Rooms and equipment found immediately

  • Preventive Maintenance: Longer asset life, fewer failures

The result: lower operating costs, faster response times, and a facility team that can focus on running the building—not searching for information.

The Problem: There is no single data standard. (2:33 mins)

The Solution: One data standard to ensure AEC deliverables are useful at handover. (2:23 mins)

Collectus uses the DDMV workflow (Define → Distribute → Manage → Validate) to establish the Owner’s Data Standard. This process consolidates the owner’s existing operational data requirements: facility management, asset management, space planning, GIS, maintenance, and more… into a unified data structure.

These requirements are Defined in the BIM Execution Plan for AEC consultants to follow. They are then Distributed to project teams, Managed throughout the project, and Validated before handover. This ensures BIM data can be harvested directly into operations, digital twins, and future AI platforms from day one.

Harvest-Ready Digital Twin Data

With Collectus, AEC BIM deliverables are aligned with the Owner’s Data Standard, ensuring the information created during design and construction matches the same operational data structure used across the owner’s facility portfolio. At handover, owners receive Data-Rich BIMs—not static models—that can be immediately harvested into a cloud-based, map-driven digital twin and integrated with operational systems such as CMMS, IWMS, GIS, BAS, and more.

The result is a live, structured operational dataset available from day one, eliminating the typical handover recovery period and allowing facility teams to immediately locate rooms, assets, and critical data across their buildings.
