AEC/Design Gold awards for Cannon Design & CDV Systems
Carol Stream, Ill. – Oct. 7, 2013 – Another year has come and gone and this past Friday, Constructechmagazine honored the 2013 Vision Award winners. This year the ceremony brought together leading construction companies at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara in California, following the 2013 Technology Day event.
The Constructech Vision Awards acknowledge companies that have stayed up to date on the latest trends and products in order to make decisions that have helped their business succeed and thrive. Alongside these winners, the hardware and software suppliers that play a vital role helping the finalists achieve their goals were honored as well.
Companies eligible to submit for this competition include residential construction, commercial and heavy construction, professionals in all trades, architectural and engineering firms, corporate owners, facility management companies, government agencies, and land developers.
“This year’s competition brought forth companies that have shown great devotion to pushing their companies forward using modern technology,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Constructech.
“That is exactly what is so great about the Vision Awards. It brings to light the companies that have implemented innovation and have obtained notable success in the industry.”
The winners of the 2013 Constructech Vision Awards are:
AEC/Design Gold: CannonDesign & Autodesk Revit: CDV Systems
Added Note by: Helina Washkowiak, Marketing/Office Assistant for Constructech @ Specialty Publishing Co.
Regarding the Vision Awards, Constructech is looking for the company that best explains the problem/challenge, how technology was innovatively used, and what the payoff/benefit of this application was to the company. Entries are evaluated by a panel of the industry's experts on how the company has used technology in an innovative way to solve a problem in order to improve their competitiveness or create a better working environment for their employees.
These awards honor companies that have realized the advantages of applying modern technologies to their everyday businesses. In addition to honoring builders and contractors, Constructech magazine will also recognize the hardware and software suppliers that have enabled the construction company to achieve its goals.
