Project Review is a customized support scenario that provides your staff the opportunity, as a project team, to engage with a Revit expert to answer questions, and provide guidance for the development of your project. This is done in a group setting where each team member benefits by seeing solutions presented in an interactive setting, inviting open dialogue from the entire team. The format is done in four hour time slots per project team. Prior to meeting, a list of questions is prepared by the project team, which is presented to the CDV trainer. All team members meet in a conference room with a single networked computer connected to a projector. The trainer takes control of that computer (virtually or on-site), opens the team's project files in question, and each team members reads their question aloud to the group and the trainer locates the area within the model and answers the question. CDV Systems' Project Review services promotes team interaction and assists members to stay on track with their project. This format helps to alleviate the frustrations of maintaining production, while learning a new software program, and the steep learning curve that is often unavoidable. This further benefits team members by discussing proper model management and workflow which becomes standard operating procedure for similar projects. Project Review also allows the trainer to get a glimpse of the project. If the trainer discovers issues with the project, they are raised with the team members and/or the project BIM leader. Project Review is not intended to replace Project Audit but rather to keep the users' questions answered and team's anxiety level to a minimum. Project Review is recommended at two week intervals and can be used on an "as needed" basis. |
