PORTSMOUTH, RI - CDV Systems, Inc., providers of Autodesk® Revit® and CodeBook® implementation services, training, consulting and courseware for the national and international AEC market, is proud to announce its largest presence yet at Autodesk's annual event: Autodesk University.

According to Autodesk, this AEC industry convention (commonly referred to as AU) is “the world's largest annual gathering of working professionals, industry experts and Autodesk executives.” It combines “a deep-learning environment with a trade show... all designed to provide ... unparalleled opportunities to learn new skills and build valuable business relationships.”

This year, AU 2006 will be held from November 28 to December 1, 2006 at the Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

CDV Systems' Involvement in Four Lab Style Classes

According to Autodesk, the faculty presenting this year's lectures, classes and laboratories consists of “gifted authors, architects, programmers and engineers.” This year, CDV Systems' president, Cyril Verley will be among that distinguished group. Mr. Verley will present two 90-minute classes entitled “Schedule for all Phases of your Work in Autodesk Revit Building”. This lab-style class will be offered at the following dates and times:

• Tuesday, November 28, 10:30 am (BD11-5L)
• Thursday, November 30, 5:00 pm (BD35-1L)

In addition, Mr. Verley will assist at two sessions entitled: “Autodesk Revit Building Family Editor Basics and More”. This class will be offered at the following times:

• Wednesday, November 29, 5:00 pm (BD25-1L)
• Thursday, November 30, 8:00 am (BD31-8L)

Both presentations will be hands-on and will include examples of Revit projects built by CDV Systems' clients. The scheduling class will also feature a challenging architectural project by one of company's clients that Mr. Verley describes as “incredibly beautiful yet complex.” What is especially exciting about this project, Mr. Verley explains, “Is that we have taken an extremely demanding design, challenged Revit's capabilities and in doing so, demonstrated how elegant its applications can be.”

Exhibit Booth Offers Demonstrations and Discounts

CDV Systems will also occupy Booth #551 in the “Building” campus section of the Exhibit Hall. At their Booth, CDV Systems will highlight the variety of services that they provide, review client success stories and display CDV Systems' latest TLC (Technical Learning Courseware) Videos for Autodesk Revit. This series of animated courseware for advanced Revit users currently includes two offerings: “AR01: The Family Editor Revealed” and “AR02: Revit Advanced Schedules”. Discount coupons for TLC Courseware will be available at the CDV Systems' exhibit booth.

Fourth and Biggest Year at Autodesk University

This is fourth year that CDV Systems will participate in AU as an exhibitor, an opportunity that Mr. Verley looks forward to annually. “It is always such a pleasure to chat with current clients and meet new folks who are excited about Revit and CodeBook,” he explains. “I am very much looking forward to AU and am thrilled about the many ways in which we are participating as a company.”
