Portsmouth, RI (September 2, 2009) - CDV Systems, Inc., implementation and training industry leaders for Autodesk Revit®, has added a new member to their executive management team. The new Director of MEP Development, Daniel Stonecipher, will be responsible for MEP business, implementation and training development. CDV Systems is fully vested in the power of the Autodesk Revit® line of products and believes it is the best BIM solution available. The addition of Mr. Stonecipher fills a great need as more clients in the AEC market are using Revit MEP. As a result of this increased demand, CDV Systems has seen a spike in requests for MEP training and consulting beyond their trademark Revit Architectural and Structural implementation and training services. “Daniel Stonecipher is a great addition to the CDV Systems team,” said Cyril Verley, CDV Systems founder and President. “Daniel brings with him expertise and knowledge of the MEP market and business segments, and has a natural penchant for building and systems design, collaboration and construction. We are very excited to have him with us, and are continually impressed by his contributions.” Mr. Stonecipher, formerly Autodesk’s Inc.’s Revit MEP Technical Marketing Manager and MEP and Architectural Subject Matter Expert (SME), where he focused on providing technically-based marketing and training deliverables and strategies, is responsible for CDV Systems MEP business development. Stonecipher’s expertise allows him to spearhead CDV Systems’ overall direction in the MEP market, opportunities in new market segments, strategic partnerships, and implementation and training services, focusing on discipline-specific training development and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). “I am delighted to be part of the CDV Systems team” says Stonecipher. “CDV Systems’ reputation as an industry leader in BIM training and implementation is world-class with countless project and client success stories. I am excited to join a team of trainers that come from the design and building industries, whose Revit expertise is fully complemented by real-world industry experience. This, combined with a commitment to the customer, yields a partnership with customers that travels beyond a typical reseller-client relationship, and that is a value proposition I can fully support.” Mr. Verley further states, “Daniel’s past experience within Autodesk and in the AEC industry as a designer and project manager using Revit for various building types uniquely qualifies him to create and support focused implementation and training.” Stonecipher is currently preparing for LEED-accredited professional testing. He has studied Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Architectural Engineering, and is completing coursework for a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT) of Boston, Massachusetts. |
