ON-SITE REVIT IMPLEMENTATION

Phase 1 - Duration: 5 Days

This service is focused on transferring the office CAD standards from an AutoCAD and/or Microstation office to a Revit platform. This on-site service is done with the office CAD Manager and two to three advanced Revit users. The CDV instructor will work with the group on the implementation of Revit focusing on building the core office Revit template file and standards and is designed as a Tips-and-Tricks class for setting up the office standards. This group will observe, note and comment on the tasks CDV SYSTEMS will provide and thus be shown how to modify the system once the implementation work is completed. With a full scope of customized implementation services, productivity can be maximized for office-wide or project-specific needs, jump-starting productivity within the first week.

The first task is to review existing Autocad / Microstation / Revit standards as well as compare those standards with CDV Systems' Revit standards. Once a consensus has been reached, portions from each standard will be used to create a final Core Revit Template file and standard. After the first day, there will be a better understanding of what is outstanding which will allow the office to then prioritize the list. There is no way to know how much content can be completed until the review of the existing office material.

Phase 2 - Duration as needed

Going beyond the first five days of Phase 1 implementation, additional services would include the next list of items to review and build such as project system families and component family files. As these items are built, they are then placed into the office Revit template files or network folders that are specific to building type. Please keep in mind that depending on how the first week goes, some of these items might be covered as well.
